Log Cabin Village
At the heart of Mentone, across from the Wildflower Cafe is the Log Cabin Village. Here you will find unique shops and your Mentone ice cream stop.
The anchor for Log Cabin Village, The Green Leaf Restaurant, closed unexpectedly with the death of the owner. It was a favorite spot for our family to frequent. Parking for the Log Cabin Village is located behind The Green Leaf Restaurant, at the flashing light. The log cabins feature unique local stores and Mentone’s ice cream stop.
If you’re in the mood for ice cream, a milkshake, an ice cream sunday, or even a hot dog, we’ve got your place, Village Ice Cream Shoppe. Just past the shops at Log Cabin Village toward the highway sits this tiny cabin with hand scooped ice cream, open most weekends.
We got single scoops of ice cream for $3 each! That was a lot of ice cream for a single scoop. They take cash or cards for payment. You can sit at the tables or benches out front and watch the world go by or take it with you to Brow Park to take in the mountain view or sunset.
